Boquete District is a district (''distrito'') of Chiriquí Province in Panama located on the North of the Chiriqui Province, in the western side of the country. The population according to the 2010 census was 22,435.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Districts of Panama )〕 The district covers a total area of 488,4 km². The town is well known by its temperate cold climate, unlike the rest of the country, due to its location in the Cordillera Central.
